How your ABT certificate is issued, what it carries, and how it holds up if the BACB audits your CEUs.
What ABT is
Academy for Behavioral Training is a BACB Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) provider. That status is what makes the CEUs you earn here count toward your recertification, and our ACE provider number appears on every certificate. (ACE # pending — shown on the live site.)
Your certificate
When you complete a course, your certificate carries everything the board looks for:
- Your full name and BACB certification number
- Our provider name and ACE number
- The course title, instructor, and dates
- Delivery method and total CEUs earned
- The ethics or supervision allocation, where it applies
About audits
The BACB audits a random sample of certificants and asks for documentation of the CEUs claimed. Keep your records for three years. Because your ABT certificates live in your account, you can re-download them any time you’re asked. See the full requirements.
ABT delivers the CE mechanism; responsibility for CE approval rests with the Academy as the licensed provider.
