Supervision training and CEUs
If you supervise RBTs, BCaBAs, or trainees, at least 3 of your CEUs must be supervision — rising to 4 in 2027. Start here.
The supervision requirement
Supervise anyone during your cycle and at least three CEUs must be supervision CEUs. For cycles ending in 2027 and later, that minimum rises to four. If you don’t supervise, these can be general learning CEUs instead.
The 8-hour supervision training
Before supervising for the first time, behavior analysts complete a competency-based 8-hour supervision training. ABT’s course covers the structure, feedback, and documentation that training requires.
